State Grid Hebei Electric Power Company announced that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), it plans to invest approximately 12.17 billion yuan in the power grid construction of Xiong'an New Area, marking a 33% increase from the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025). The primary goal of this investment is to further enhance the reliability of power supply in Xiong'an and to build a world-class urban power grid.
State Grid Hebei Electric Power will implement a "double-petal" power grid structure in the launch area of Xiong'an New Area, and construct double-ring networks in peripheral clusters such as Xiong County and Rongcheng. The self-healing system will be put into operation simultaneously with the main grid, ensuring that all relocated enterprises, universities, and hospitals are connected to the "double-petal" power supply network, providing stronger power supply support for high-quality corporate development. Meanwhile, the company will expand the application scenarios of low-voltage proactive repair and explore low-voltage live-line maintenance models. It is expected that by 2027, the medium and low-voltage power supply reliability in the launch area will reach "six nines" (99.9999%).
During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Xiong'an New Area will mark the 10th anniversary of its establishment. State Grid Hebei Electric Power will carry out unified planning and promote the upgrading of power grids at all levels in Xiong'an in an integrated manner, driving power supply reliability to even higher levels.
