Gansu Energy Regulatory Office Held a Symposium on New Energy Storage Research

Arctic Star Smart Grid Online News: To thoroughly implement the national decisions on accelerating the construction of a new energy system, and adhering to the requirements for energy green transformation in the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, recently, the Energy Regulatory Office of Gansu Province organized a research symposium on energy storage.
At present, the grid-connected scale of new energy storage in Gansu Province has reached 9.22 million kilowatts, and it has become an important flexible regulation power source for the Gansu power grid. This research will further clarify the development context of new energy storage in Gansu Province and solve the development bottlenecks. The meeting comprehensively reviewed the overall situation of Gansu's new energy storage planning and layout, project construction progress, operation and utilization effectiveness, and participation of energy storage in power market settlement. It conducted in-depth discussions on the current situation, existing problems, and future direction of new energy storage development in Gansu Province, clarified the core goals, key tasks, and division of responsibilities of the research work, and laid a solid foundation for subsequent precise research and strengthening of energy storage supervision. Relevant units exchanged and analyzed the development plans, industrial layout priorities, and challenges of new energy storage in Gansu Province during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
The meeting required that all relevant units should attach great importance, assign specific personnel, and implement detailed measures to fully cooperate in the research work, propose targeted policy suggestions, and provide strong support for the precise policy implementation, strengthened supervision, and promotion of high-quality development of new energy storage by the Energy Regulatory Office of Gansu Province.
The deputy responsible person in charge of the Energy Regulatory Office of Gansu Province attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company and the Gansu Electricity Exchange Co., Ltd., etc. participated in the meeting.
