Recently, the country's first "zero-carbon maintenance center with integrated photovoltaic, energy storage and charging infrastructure" was officially put into operation. This achievement was created by the Foshan Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid and integrates distributed photovoltaics, diverse energy storage, intelligent charging piles, and energy management systems. The green electricity "production and consumption integration" self-sufficiency rate exceeds 90%, transforming traditional maintenance sites into "self-generated and self-consumed, green electricity storage, and emergency support" zero-carbon operation units.

It is reported that the total installed capacity of the photovoltaic system is 351.9 kilowatts, and the annual power generation can reach 3.5 million kilowatt-hours. Through the introduction of micro-grid energy storage and other technologies, the green electricity self-sufficiency rate exceeds 90%. The maintenance center has deployed a total capacity of 277.55 kilowatt-hours of energy storage systems in three different areas, and adopted differentiated battery technologies based on load characteristics. Each set of energy storage equipment can seamlessly switch between grid-connected and off-grid modes, and automatically switch to backup power supply in case of external grid anomalies.

Relying on the multi-energy storage system, the photovoltaic power generation in the park is prioritized for use in lighting, maintenance equipment, office areas, and charging piles. The excess electricity is stored in the energy storage system or fed back to the grid, maximizing the self-consumption rate of clean energy. In addition, the dual-chargers 360-kilowatt DC ultra-fast charging piles equipped in the park have a single-charger output of up to 180 kilowatts, which can be compatible with all mainstream electric vehicles on the market, enabling plug-and-charge and rapid charging.

As the "brain" of the entire system, the micro-grid monitoring and energy management system adopts a "central monitoring - regional control - equipment control" hierarchical distributed architecture, integrating functions such as energy prediction, optimization scheduling, fault diagnosis and alarm, data statistics analysis, etc. It can collect photovoltaic output, battery charge state, charging pile power, and various load power consumption information in real time, adaptively and intelligently dynamically coordinate the efficient flow of sources, storages, and loads, and thereby complete the integrated efficient regulation of "source, grid, load, and storage" in real time. This maintenance center achieves a full-chain closed-loop of energy production, storage, consumption, and management through "multi-energy coordination + digital unified management", providing a replicable and scalable zero-carbon practice path for green energy use in maintenance scenarios.
