The integrated power generation, load management, storage and multi-energy complementarity demonstration project in Chengde County, Hebei Province, has successfully completed the full-capacity grid connection and power generation.
The integrated power generation, load management, storage and multi-energy complementarity demonstration project in Chengde County is located in Xinzhuozi Town. With a total investment of 2.49 billion yuan, it covers an area of 12,000 mu and has a total installed capacity of 400 MW. The project has also built a 220KV substation, an 84MW/168MWh energy storage station, and auxiliary buildings and facilities such as comprehensive and auxiliary buildings. The total construction area is approximately 2,000 square meters. On-site, solar photovoltaic panel foundations and components installation, inverter installation, collection lines, communication projects, and various construction auxiliary projects have been implemented to create a regional integrated energy demonstration model featuring light storage synergy and multi-energy complementarity.
Currently, the project has been officially put into operation, generating an average of 600 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. It can also save approximately 180,400 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 498 tons, contributing to the country's carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy.
